The class organization
The International Tempo Class Organization is the representation of interests of the Tempo yachtsmen in all parts of the world.
A national organization still only exists in Germany.
The boat
The TEMPO SCOW is a sporting two hand sailing dinghy with spinnaker and trapeze. With her unconventional, flat hull form the sailing dinghy excites much sensation.
The TEMPO SCOW has an exceptionally good stability and high capsizing safety due to her form. By the V-shaped hull the lee side of the boat dives fast into the water. This leads to a stable swimming position so that the TEMPO SCOW is also an ideal boat for newcomers in sailing. The practiced crew is expecting rapid and sporting sailing qualities on wind force 4 to 5 Beaufort and more, and by using trapeze and spinnaker high speeds can be reached.
The TEMPO SCOW, being handled without problems, is therefore the ideal boat for all those, who are looking for contact to wind and water on sailing.

The class organization offers to interested yachtsmen and beginners the possibility for test sailing.
New sailing friends are fastly admitted to the community of TEMPO yachtsmen because a comfortable and friendly atmosphere is always in the foreground, also at races.
